This delicious, crunchy, meaty bacon is made with protein from red seaweed. A new take on an ancient food source. You want to cook it until it blisters to get the best texture.
Cooking Directions –
Pan-Fried
Set heat to low-medium.
Heat a small amount of neutral cooking oil.
Cook each side of the bacon for about 1 – 2 minutes. The bacon will burn easily if the heat is too high, so please use low-medium heat for this cooking method. Also, we find it best to use a bacon press (or any type of cast iron press) on top of the bacon to ensure even cooking.
Oven
Preheat the oven to 375F.
Once heated, cook the bacon strips for 3 – 4 minutes on a metal sheet tray.
When ready, the bacon should have visible bubbles on the surface, and the outer corners should be crispy to the touch. The outer edges should also be a bit darker/slightly caramelized than the center of the strip.
This product is wrapped in-house.

Absolutely perfect for you crispy bacon lovers! It has an amazing texture that is perfect for sandwiches, its easy to bite down and doesn’t come sliding out of your sandwich because it has this perfect crispy texture that works just to bite with your front teeth (unlike some bacons made with mushrooms for example that are harder to tear off and are more like jerky). and it’s also not snappy and thin like how say, morning star bacon is. it has more substance than that, its a wonderful in-between.
Incredible flavor, a perfect texture that’s even better than animal-sourced bacon, yummy and very salty. This made my bacon dreams come true. Thank you so much!
