Cooking Instructions

    This has the flavor of pork or very thick cut bacon, not a crispy type bacon. We fried this, chopped it up and used it in one of our traditional bean soup recipes and it was delicious. We ate a few slices plain as well, and again, it is delicious. We think it is going to work really well for some of our recipes that would traditionally call for a fatty pork type flavor like our slow cooked Serbian Sarma (we make it vegan now of course).
